Born in Paris, Laura Shepherd has traveled from diplomatic circles in Geneva to dirt roads in South America. With her hands in the earth and her gaze on the stars, she knows that ‘when a root breaks, it makes a certain sound.’ Laura listens, and you can hear it in her songs.

A veteran troubadour, Laura has been spreading her unique message to music audiences for nearly two decades.

With the experience of many roads travelled and many stories heard as her backdrop, Laura now hosts a community show.

The Laura Shephetd show is a place where musicians, non-profits, businesses and Civic leaders gather together to share good news .This show can be streamed live or watched at your own convenience on her Facebook page, The Laura Shepherd Show, and on podcast services nationwide.

Laura still hits the open road with her instruments and unique voice, touring folk festivals and local gatherings, always with the belief that ‘Something’s Going to Happen and It Could Be Good,’ which is both a song and a philosophy. By getting back to who we are – the humanity, the peacefulness of spirit, the sense of community – Laura reminds us that indeed, good thing’s are happening around us if only we take the time to look.
